Flat-Top (D-Segment) Bifocal

Round-Segment Bifocal

This design features a rounded near-vision segment at the bottom of the lens. Its softer shape makes the segment less noticeable cosmetically, although the reading area is generally smaller than that of a flat-top bifocal.

Executive (E-Line) Bifocal

Executive bifocals have a straight line running across the full width of the lens, creating a large and uninterrupted near-vision zone. They are especially useful for people who require an extensive reading area for prolonged close work.

Blended (Invisible) Bifocal

In blended bifocals, the edge of the near segment is softened and blended into the surrounding lens to make the dividing line less obvious. This gives a more discreet appearance, although the effective reading area is usually smaller than in traditional lined bifocal designs.
