About Us

Mary is a graduate optometrist from Cardiff University (UK). Upon returning to her hometown, she gained clinical experience from a private eye specialist hospital. She is also a fellow Dispensing Optician from the UK. Her passion for eye care has kept her in this field for more than 15 years and still going strong. As a committee member of the Association of Malaysian Optometrists, she is keen to raise the standard of practice in optometry. Her clinical interests are advanced optical dispensary, specialty contact lenses, Ortho-K fitting and myopia control programme. She loves to spend her spare time with her family members.

Alwyn is a well-organized, energetic, and ambitious individual who approaches every task with maturity and responsibility. He graduated from Deakin University, Australia, with a degree in Robotic Engineering. Alwyn previously worked as a specialist engineer at a multinational company, where he led a team on various projects. He consistently collaborates closely with his team to ensure smooth and efficient operations at all times. Born and raised in Penang, Alwyn is a true Penangite—pick any topic related to Penang, and he’s ready to dive into a lively discussion. In his free time, he enjoys building and assembling home furniture.

Cavyn is a reliable and driven creative professional with strong prioritization skills and a keen eye for detail. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts (Hons) in Graphic Design and Multimedia. With a deep passion for visual storytelling to every project, Cavyn has produced numerous impactful designs and illustrations for both print and digital platforms, helping to shape the company’s visual identity. A collaborative team player, he thrives in dynamic environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to translate ideas into compelling, high-quality visuals that bring the company’s vision to life.

Sok Ping is a dedicated Inventory Control Executive with strong expertise in inventory monitoring, stock reconciliation, and process control. She plays a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory records, minimizing discrepancies, and enhancing operational efficiency through effective inventory management. By working closely with internal departments, she ensures inventory integrity and strict adherence to company procedures.

Helen joined the company without a background in optometry but with a genuine passion for helping others. As a valued member of the customer service team, she brings a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn — supporting patients with care and guiding them through decisions many find unfamiliar, such as proper eye care and choosing the right eyewear. Driven by the belief that knowledge and compassion can make a meaningful difference, she continues to grow in her role each day. Her work is guided by patience, empathy, and a heartfelt commitment to delivering the best possible support to every person she serves.

Joyce is our dedicated and friendly Customer Care & Support Executive. With a passion for assisting customers and a commitment to exceptional service, she is the friendly voice on the other end of the line and the welcoming face when you visit our practice. She is driven by a genuine desire to ensure each customer’s needs are met with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. She believes in going the extra mile to exceed your expectations and leave you with a smile. When you interact with Joyce, you can trust that your concerns will be addressed promptly and efficiently, and your satisfaction is her top priority!

Hasny is a dedicated professional with a strong background in office operations, administration, and team supervision. She holds a Higher Secondary/STPM qualification and has grown her skills through both hands-on experience and formal training. Over the years, she has taken on various roles, gaining valuable experience in administration and executive support. With her leadership abilities, she has successfully led teams, maintained quality standards, and supported smooth daily operations.

Rachel graduated with First Class Honors from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and received the Exemplary Character Award. She has actively participated in primary school screenings and Special Olympics events, supporting athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Passionate about pediatric and geriatric eye care, Rachel believes that empathy and patience are essential to high-quality care. Growing up in Kuching, Sarawak, a hometown celebrated for its cultural diversity, shaped her warm, tolerant, and people-centered approach. She enjoys listening to the stories behind every pair of eyes she cares for and strives to brighten their vision through thoughtful and compassionate care.

Chew graduated as an optometrist from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and brings over 30 years of experience to the industry. He is deeply committed to delivering dedicated, personalized care to his patients. Known for his pleasant demeanour and excellent communication skills, Chew builds strong rapport with everyone he serves. Detail-oriented and highly skilled, he takes pride in ensuring each patient receives the most suitable eyewear for their needs. He is also passionate about advancing the quality of primary eye care in collaboration with his team.

Shanice graduated as an optometrist from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). During her clinical year, she actively participated in various community service programs, including eye examinations for school children, the elderly, rural residents, and students with low vision. She is optimistic, self-motivated, and a dedicated team player. With an undeniable sweet tooth, Shanice often finds joy in indulging in delicious desserts. Her passion for optometry led her to join the Eye & Glasses team, where she is committed to raising public awareness about the importance of regular eye check-ups and primary eye care.

Gwen graduated as an optometrist from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and was awarded the best optometry student. Throughout her learning journey, she served the community by actively participating in eye screening activities especially in rural areas. She completed her clinical internship at several local eye specialist hospitals and was exposed to the management of various eye diseases. She is a member of the Association of Malaysian Optometrists. Inspired by her passion in the areas of primary eye care, pediatric and binocular vision, she envisions taking the standard of primary eye care in Malaysia to a higher level along with the team.

Yee Vyon graduated as an optometrist from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). She worked alongside an ophthalmologist in a private hospital for years. She is dedicated to providing the most comprehensive eye care services to the nation and exalting the eye care standard in our community. She holds on to her passion of offering ideal vision care tailored to the people’s lifestyle which has always been her philosophy too. She is a coffee lover. Bring her a cup of coffee when you visit – you will make her day! Cheerful and enthusiastic about the eye care industry, she is beyond motivated to soar to greater heights with the team.

Eean is a registered optometrist who graduated from Cardiff University, UK, and boasts over a decade of professional experience. He is a proud member of the Association of Malaysian Optometrists and also holds certification as a dispensing optician (FBDO, UK). With his extensive expertise spanning both optometry and opticianry, he is dedicated to delivering optimal optical solutions while prioritising the eye health of his customers. In conjunction with state-of-the-art equipment and a highly specialised team with extensive expertise in eye care at Eye & Glasses Optometrist, Eean is confident that they can elevate the standard of primary eye care to an unprecedented level!

SK graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and began his career in private practice for three years. He then worked as a clinical optometrist at a private eye hospital in Penang for seven years, assisting ophthalmologists and conducting pre-operative and post-operative assessments for cataract and LASIK patients. Now back in optometry practice, SK is dedicated to promoting eye health through public talks and screenings. A father of two, he has a strong interest in children’s eye health and myopia control, striving to improve vision care for the younger generation.

Jessica graduated as an optometrist from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and was awarded Best Optometry Student in Contact Lens Fitting and Care. Driven by a strong sense of aesthetics, she believes that great vision should go hand in hand with great style. She is also deeply passionate about conducting comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing and managing eye diseases. Her mission is to ensure that every patient receives the highest standard of care and attention when it comes to their vision and eye health. Beyond the optometry chair, Jessica is a passionate music enthusiast. Whether she’s playing her favourite instrument or simply enjoying the melodies she loves, music is her source of joy and inspiration.
